I’m coming to you live from vacation in Rhode Island, where I’ve been shielding my freshly lasered skin from the sun while my two boys play in the sand. So, if you just got a little more relaxed when you opened this email, perhaps it’s the ocean breeze.

What I’m *Actually* Using Right Now

Nearly every day someone asks me what products I *actually* use. It’s a fair question — as an esthetician I get sent every serum, moisturizer, and device under the sun, and I’m always testing things out. But I generally take a less is more approach to skincare, so for me to use something long-term, it really has to work.

Obviously, I change it up as needed according to my skin, the seasons, etc. But here’s what I’m loving right now:

1. Nice Ice Frozen Toner Pods - These frozen toner pods have been saving my skin this summer. They have niacinamide, green tea extract, and glycerin to cool you down, reduce inflammation, and give skin a nice healthy glow. (Ok, yes, I made this, so I’m biased. But would you really trust me if I didn’t use my own products???)

2. EADEM LeChouchou Lip Softening Balm - this balm is so multifaceted. I love the butter Butter Mochi clear version and also Fig, which leaves a gorge stain on the lips. My favorite way to use this is to use a light brown lip liner and then smooth a little lip butter over the top for a subtle yet put together look - the metal tip applicator is also perfect.

3. Vacation Super Spritz Sunscreen - This is my go to reapplication spf to keep in my bag all summer. It’s lightweight, doesn’t sting, and has the signature vacation summer scent that is just so delectable. I even spray it on the tops of my hands before setting off driving to protect through the windscreen.

4. Evolvetogether Deodorant in Taormina - I was gifted this deodorant at the wonderful Erika Veurink’s Salon a few months back and was immediately hooked on the scent- anything orange blossom/jasmine fragranced is so deeply summer evocative and heady, I fell even more in love when I realized it actually works as well. Ive reordered twice! Evolvetogether team, please release more products in this fragrance.

5. Chanel Hydra Beauty Nutrition Nourishing Lip Care - Can you see I’m addicted to lip products? I use this little pot of goodness any time my lips feel dry or chapped from the sun and before bed. It sinks right in and immediately remedies any irritation.

6. Sofie Pavitt Face Mandelic Clearing Serum - probably my favorite product so far from the line, I always get asked if this is just for people with acne and I always answer with a resounding absolutely not! Whats so great about Mandelic clearing serum is that it lightly and gently buffs away any dead cells to make your products work better. If you’re on a retinol for example, MCS will wipe away the dead cells it brings up leaving smoother, brighter, clearer looking skin. I love it and I miss it when I haven’t used it in a few days.
